Happy New 2016

This an excerpt from the first book written by visionary Dr. Ernest Holmes in 1918.  I wanted to share it  with all of you because it’s been almost 100 years since he wrote this and it blew my mind to read the words that still have such a profound impact on all of us!  Read these words and feel the vibrations that move through your body.

“The hand of eternal progress is brushing the cobwebs from the corridors of time and is again revealing to the human race the mysteries of being.  As there is “nothing new under the sun,” the searchlight of Truth is bringing to light only what has been known to the few in all generations.  The time has now come when the the few must become the many.

The whole world, from the least to the greatest, must know the Truth so that humankind may understand the great laws that govern life.  We must learn to control our own destinies, to heal our own bodies and bring happiness to our own souls.  Ignorance must vanish and understanding must be ushered in.  Humankind is no longer to be governed by anything outside of ourselves.  Creeds, doctrines, churches, institutions, organizations and governments are all being changed to give place to the realization of the individual.

There is a power in and through all that is working this great transformation.  All that will not measure up to the standard that must fall by its own weight; all that is in line with the Truth must still prosper.  The time is at hand; we are in the greatest age of history; we are in the age of the unifying of all people and all things into the “Ever Present One.”

I hope that these words will serve as a template to your New Year with Exciting and Great chapters in your life and the lives you impact.  Let this New Year of 2016 be a truly magical time as the age of Aquarius ushers in the feminine period.  Let it be a time for forgiveness, compassion and love.

I am looking forward to all the blessings that are upon me.

I am ready to be happy, I am ready for love,

and I am going to receive it all with open arms!!!

What Matters Most?

If you knew you were dying, what would you do with the time you had left?

Lately, I have been effected by mortality and the loss of some great people in and around my life, as well as births and birthdays of  wonderful grandchildren.  The never ending cycle of life.  But the question still remains, what does matter most for you?  Not a topic we are all comfortable with but non the less inevitable for all of us humans.  It should be made known to those you love and not waited on until one is sick and tired, and too old to make their wishes known.  Don’t wait to do the things that bring you true Happiness and let go of things that no longer serve the greater.  So much easier said then done.

This is the Chinese New Year of the Blue Green Wooden Ram.  It is time to be bold and step out.  Make yourself known and take a chance.  Who knows, you just might find a whole new you.  I know Cancer did have a way of slapping me in the face, but then like everything else you move on and become complacent.  Remember that EVERYDAY is a gift.  You are what you sow and you can become anything you truly want.  You just have to want it bad enough.

I’ve recently been thinking of taking a cruise on a freightor ship around the world like my mother did.  I’m scared shitless of leaving on a huge cargo ship, for a month or more, and leaving my family and dog.  The what if’s and if not’s, run through my head.  And the thrill of writing and getting my book done give me highs.  Yes, I really want to do it!  I just need that little sign and I will be on my way!

For Debbie Whitmore, a young mother diagnosed with stage four colon cancer, the answer was simple: spend quality time, including a trip to Disney World, with her husband and four children.

Debbie and her family share their story in A Last Wish, an original FRONTLINE documentary short:

If you were in Debbie’s shoes and you knew your time was short, what would matter most to you?  Don’t wait to think, just DO IT!  Just PLEASE DO IT NOW!

It’s a question Dr. Atul Gawande, a surgeon and author of the best-selling book Being Mortal, encourages all of us to think about in his book and in tonight’s FRONTLINE film.
